A quarter of Germany's biggest websites now block the AI crawlers
We analysed the robots.txt of all 1,000 most-visited German domains. GPTBot, ClaudeBot & co. are being blocked systematically — news sites hardest of all. And some of the blocking appears in no robots.txt.
