Anthropic has integrated an iOS simulator into Claude Code. According to the company's Bluesky announcement, developers can now build and run their iOS apps directly within the desktop interface – the simulator opens in a panel next to the chat window. The feature is available in public beta as of today.
Quick Facts
- Claude Code gains iOS Simulator integration
- Simulator runs in a panel next to the conversation
- Available now in public beta
- Target audience: iOS app developers using Claude Code
What This Means
The expansion reduces context-switching for developers – instead of jumping between an IDE and simulator, everything stays in one interface. This could speed up development cycles, especially in iterative workflows with AI assistance.
For German developers and agencies already using Claude Code, this could be a practical productivity boost. Whether the integration runs smoothly and how it integrates with other iOS development workflows will become clear over the coming weeks of public beta testing.
