Assessment
The new search queries suggest that AI interest is shifting from theoretical questions to practical solutions. Users ask less "is ai really that dangerous" (now vanished) and more "can ai do this for me". Business queries like "ki förderung nrw bank" and "ki strategie brandenburg" indicate regional interest in funding and implementation. However, this method only captures Google searches – discussions on social media, AI platforms, or specialist forums remain invisible. Additionally, search volume alone cannot reveal whether questions were actually answered or whether users abandoned their search in frustration.
How we measure
i6eal polls google.de's public autocomplete once a day for a fixed basket of 76 AI search stems (language German, region Germany) and records the date each suggestion first appears. Google offers no history for this – our archive only grows forward (recording since 2026-07-03). Only suggestions appearing after their stem's first recorded day count as "new"; day-one suggestions are the baseline. Suggestions are algorithmically filtered by Google; we show them unchanged and unrated. The daily updated board lives in the Google Suggest AI radar.
