Which programmes are open, what changed, and which deadline is approaching? This index tracks AI and digital funding from official sources, with explicit statuses, a change log and an archive.
Open means the official source listed the programme as available. Pauses, approaching deadlines and uncertain changes are shown separately.
Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control
A share of consulting costs; the rate depends in part on the business location
BAFA publishes the programme page and the applicable guideline.
KfW
No minimum; up to €7.5m in level 1 and €25m in levels 2/3. Grant of 3% or 5%, capped at €200,000. Your bank determines the individual interest rate.
KfW lists the product as currently available for applications.
Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy
Free, vendor-neutral support – not a direct grant
The current network is phasing out through the end of 2026; a new network has been announced for 2027.

The digital BSFZ application process is available.
Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy
Project grants; rate and maximum depend on project type and company size
A temporary application pause has applied since 7 July 2026 at 12:00. Applications with international partners in open bilateral and multilateral calls are exempt.
Changes have been stored since 13 July 2026. This index cannot establish what happened before then.
“No change” only means that no material change was detected since tracking began; it does not mean the programme was unchanged before that date.
The index separates source observation, status assessment and publication. A missing record therefore does not automatically become a closed programme.
Structured funding data and selected programme pages are checked on their own schedules.
Statuses, deadlines, terms and target groups are compared with the last complete state.
Broken or empty imports do not replace the existing index; uncertain cases are labelled.
This overview is for orientation, not funding advice. Programmes, rates and deadlines change — the official programme pages always prevail.
Every source retains its observation time, scope, checking cadence and reuse notes.
