We read the EU platform TED (Tenders Electronic Daily, buyers in Germany, above the EU thresholds) and the OpenData export from oeffentlichevergabe.de (national sub-threshold tenders, OCDS).
A fixed keyword list (artificial intelligence, machine learning, language model, chatbot …) flags AI-related notices. Deterministic, no AI model.
If an AI term is in the title, we count the tender as “explicitly AI”; if it only appears in the body, as “AI mentioned”.
Every notice is stored permanently. The archive and the trend curve can only grow forward.
Covered are EU-wide tenders from German buyers above the EU thresholds (TED) and national sub-threshold tenders (oeffentlichevergabe.de, OCDS). Contract values are often not stated. We are not an official source.

“Explicitly AI” means an AI term is in the tender title – the procurement is clearly about AI. “AI mentioned” means the term only appears in the body text, where AI may be a side topic.
No, but nearly complete: TED covers the EU-wide tenders above the thresholds, oeffentlichevergabe.de the national ones below them. Individual platforms outside this network may be missing.
TED only states the estimated value for some notices. When it is missing we show “n/a” – that is the rule, not an error.
