The AI Government Radar is a processed projection of the official MaKI register (“Marktplatz der KI-Möglichkeiten”), not independent research. It is based on the profiles the authorities publish themselves.
Important: these numbers count published profiles — not an estimated full inventory. What authorities do not report does not appear here. The distribution across levels therefore also reflects reporting behaviour, not just actual usage.
